Our story
A driveway & patio company built on doing the groundwork properly
JK Paving & Surfacing Ltd lays driveways and patios across Rotherham and the surrounding South Yorkshire area — block paving, resin, tarmac and concrete driveways, plus Indian sandstone and porcelain patios, garden paving, fencing and turfing.
We built the business around a simple idea: the surface only ever looks as good as the groundwork underneath it. Every job gets the same attention to the sub-base, drainage and edge restraint, whether it is a full driveway rebuild or a single garden patio — because that is what actually determines whether it still looks right in ten years' time.
Customers tell us the same things come up again and again: turning up when we say we will, keeping the site tidy while we work, and giving a fair, honest price without any pressure to spend more than the job needs.

The team
The people on your driveway
Jobs are carried out by a small, consistent team rather than rotating sub-contractors, so the people who quote your job are usually the same people who build it. Customers regularly mention how hard the team works — including through some genuinely hot summer days — and how carefully they treat the property while the job is on.
"We'd been putting off doing anything with the driveway for ages, but the team made the whole thing easy. The porcelain patio and block paved driveway turned out better than we expected, and everyone was polite and looked after the property the whole time they were here — even working through some really hot weather. The price was fair too, with no pressure to spend more than we needed to."Paraphrased from a customer review, Rotherham
